The unknown American who threatened the U.S. President Barack Obama is likely to face the 25-year imprisonment. He sent Barack Obama e-mails containing threats and messages that he was intending to kill the President. After the investigation the abuser faces jail considering the aggravating circumstances. Except threatening the chief executive of the state the abuser has out up a resistance to the police officers attempting to arrest him.
The unknown abuser turned out to be the U.S. citizen living in one of the small suburban towns near Seattle. The 31-year old Anton Caluori was arrested in his flat on the 21st of August 2012 by the officers of the U.S. Secret Service.
As reported by the Reuters news agency the next day Anton Caluori followed proceeding in court. According the the information provided by Reuters he also sent the e-mail to the CIA headquarters in which he reported about his intentions to kill Barack Obama.
“I will kill the President. Come and take me into custody. You have 7 days.”- writes Anton Caluori in his letter to CIA.
The representative of the U. S. Secret Service Brian Leary the CIA officers have informed him about the threatening letters sent to their headquarters earlier. After that the U. S. Secret Service officers immediately set for the flat of Anton Caluori to arrest him. The abuser was criminally resisting the law for some time, drawing a shotgun against the officers. During the house search there were also 5 guns found, including 2 automatic rifles.
The solicitor of the defendant Kyana Stephens has refused to give any comment upon the case of Anton Caluori. As reported by Reuters she made a petition for the judicial examination of the defendant by a psychiatrist. However the public prosecutors don’t deny the fact that Caluori could be really dangerous.
